Willey Beers was raised in Woods Cross, Utah.  He was educated in the arts at Utah State University in Logan, Utah.  He graduated in 2002 with a BFA in Art Education with an emphasis in ceramics.  Since that time he has been building up his pottery business.  He frequently travels around the Western states to various arts and craft fairs.  All of his pottery is decorated with specially formulated glazes so as to enhance the surface of the pottery and give each piece an artistic touch.  All items are considered functional and are intended to be used around the house and in the kitchen.  He enjoys making functional items because they present a special challenge to make the piece as useful as possible while still maintaining an artistic touch.
